The Launch

Today is the first day of life of MerryRibbon. I have prepared for this day for at least the last two years and throughout that time I was not always sure that I would be able to make it happen.

Some of you may say that there is nothing new in the concept of MerryRibbon and may ask why I created it. Yes, I am aware that on the Internet there are many excellent websites with on-line greeting cards: bluemountain.com, 123greetings.com, hallmark.com, americangreetings.com and many, many others. I am not going to compete with them; how would I dare? Yet I am sure that there still is a bit of room for MerryRibbon. Especially, that in my opinion, the MerryRibbon eCards have or eventually will have their own, exceptional character. Not only because of the unique form of presentation - "on-line, but like off-line, like real greeting cards" - but because of the way of using it.

I could open up for you the picture of the future of MerryRibbon. Believe me, I really liked talking, talking and talking, about plans and ideas. As far as I remember, it was always more difficult to realize them. Yet now it has changed. Because of that, on this blog we will talk only about what already is or will be right now, nothing about my dreams. :)

Finally, remains me only to say that I consider MerryRibbon as opened. Take it and use.
