Hey, you're not signed in!

A month passed

MerryRibbon has been on the Internet for a little more than one month. It was mostly a month of bugs recovery. However, I am sure that some still exist and I continuously wait for your
feed back about everything that doesn't seem to work properly. As usual, thank you in advance.

A few days ago, I finally finished the Author Zone. Now you can upload your own pictures to MerryRibbon and send them as greeting cards. Of course, like all other MerryRibbon eCards, they can also be sent in virtual envelopes! Now, you can also become a MerryRibbon author. You can set up your own uploaded picture as a 'public picture'. If you do this, your picture will be available for use by other users of MerryRibbon. After you set up at least one picture in the system as "public", your own Author's Gallery will be created, just like mine. In that way you can promote yourself as a graphic artist or photographer. Nowadays, you can add to your Author's Gallery a short description of yourself, a link to your webpage and if you want even an email address. I am open to any kind of suggestions from you concerning this subject.

If your pictures will be 'good' they will be placed into the Main Gallery. 'Good' in this context means 'good quality and well-matched to the character of MerryRibbon'. I will try to write something more about it in the near future, but above all I will try to demonstrate the character of MerryRibbon by adding subsequent pictures to the Main Gallery. Today the decision about placing your picture to the Main Gallery depends arbitrarily on me. In the future, pictures chosen for the Main Gallery will depend entirely on the users of MerryRibbon through a voting system.

Thus far, all pictures, photos and graphics have been published in the website by me personally. Only sometimes, I had to ask someone for English language consultation with texts for ecards. I am aware that I will not be able to produce enough content for MerryRibbon that will be useful in your daily life. I started the development of MerryRibbon alone, but of course I do not have a plan to develop the site alone in the future. I've just started to search people who can join to me in development of the site.

PS: I've wrote that I do everything myself, but in reality it is not the full truth. Read more.

Janusz Szyszko
